Tuesday, February 14, 2017 will NOT be an early release day.  School will dismiss at 3:15 P.M. for students. 

Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4:00 P.M.– 7:00 P.M.will be Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Friday, February 17, 2017 will be a make-up day with early release for students to dismiss at 1:15 P.M.  Parent-Teacher Conferences will follow immediately beginning at 1:30 P.M.until 3:30 P.M..

Marlboro County High School’s own Chandler Herndon is the recipient for the “National High School Spirit of Sport Award,” which is conferred to eight section winners as well as one national winner. Through this award, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) seeks to recognize those individuals who exemplify the ideals of the positive spirit of sport that represent the core mission of education-based athletics. DECA District Winners

Marlboro County High School DECA members competed at the District Two State qualifying marketing conference on December 6 at Westwood High School in Blythewood. Students tested and demonstrated a role play with a professional judge in the areas of Apparel and Accessories Marketing, Accounting Applications, Business Services, Hotel and Lodging, Human Resources, Marketing communications, Quick Serve Restaurant, and Sports and Entertainment Marketing. The following students placed in the top 10 to move forward to state competition in March. Junior Leadership Program of Bennettsville Has Successful Start

Selected Juniors of Marlboro County High School and Marlboro Academy were chosen to participate in the Junior Leadership program sponsored by the Bennettsville Downtown Development Association, Marlboro County Economic Development Partnership, Marlboro County High School, Marlboro Academy, and Clemson Cooperative Extension. The juniors will participate in a five-month program that would engage them in several activities that would enable them to learn and understand what made the community rich in history and opportunities.   READ MORE...

New Traffic Pattern
MCHS Initiates New Traffic Pattern and Student Security/Accountability Procedures

The administration of Marlboro County High School will initiate a new traffic pattern/procedure for dropping students off at school starting Monday September 12th. With the new traffic pattern, parents will drive to the rear of the school going down the road that is to the immediate left of Bulldog Stadium and proceed to the rear parking lot, dropping their student off in the vicinity of the District Bus Office. Parents will then proceed to rear of the school and depart using the back parking lot exit. Traffic will flow one way.   READ MORE...
