Announcements

Marlboro County High School will offer up to three sessions of Summer School Credit Recovery this summer.  Students who have failed a core course in Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Computer Applications, IBA, Spanish, or French with a grade of 51 – 59 will be eligible to enroll.  The cost per course is $200 for MCHS students and $400 for any student who was not enrolled at MCHS at the end of the 2016 – 2017 school year.  Students may only enroll in one course per session.  Dates for each credit recovery session are as follows: Session 1: June 12 – 22, 2017, Session 2: June 26 – 29, 2017 and July 10 – 13, 2017, and Session 3: July 17 – 27, 2017 (This session will only be offered if enough students register.)

One session of Attendance Recovery (FA) will be held beginning Monday, June 12th and continuing through Thursday, June 22nd.  Credit Recovery and Attendance Recovery will operate Monday through Thursday from 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.  Breakfast and lunch will be available.  Transportation will NOT be provided.  Students who do not drive must be picked up at 2:00 P.M.  

Open registration for both programs will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.  Registration forms may be picked up from Teresa Reid in the Media Center or from the Student Services Department.  You must pay in cash or by money order made payable to MCHS

MCHS Teachers Participate in the 1st PBL Expo at FMU

Marlboro County High School’s Interact Club teacher sponsors participated in the 1st Project Based Learning (PBL) Expo at Francis Marion University on Thursday, April 27th at the Performing Arts Center from five in the afternoon until seven in the evening. The Garden Gate Garden Club made a donation to the MCHS ROTC Blue Star Memorial Project. The check was presented to Dr. Mark Bunch - Principal of MCHS.
