New Lunch Schedule Effective September 6, 2016

Beginning on September 6, 2016, Marlboro County High School will operate four lunches for students.  The new lunch schedule is listed below. 

11:17 - 11:47: A Lunch - Students from B/C Hall Downstairs/Gym
11:52 - 12:22: B Lunch - Students from D/C Hall
12:27 - 12:57: C Lunch - Students from A and E Hall
1:02 - 1:32: D Lunch - Students from B Upstairs

Parents' Right to Know Requirement

As required by The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001, Title I Part A.  Information is available at our school to include, but is not limited to the following:

whether a teacher has met state qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction; 
whether a teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived; 
the baccalaureate degree major of a teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree;

New Traffic Pattern
MCHS Initiates New Traffic Pattern and Student Security/Accountability Procedures

The administration of Marlboro County High School will initiate a new traffic pattern/procedure for dropping students off at school starting Monday September 12th. With the new traffic pattern, parents will drive to the rear of the school going down the road that is to the immediate left of Bulldog Stadium and proceed to the rear parking lot, dropping their student off in the vicinity of the District Bus Office. Parents will then proceed to rear of the school and depart using the back parking lot exit. Traffic will flow one way.   READ MORE...
Maria Maderal Attends ASM Materials Science Camp 2

Maria Maderal, MCHS TAP STEM Master Teacher was selected by the ASM International Foundation to attend the Level 2 ASM Materials Science Camp at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ from July 25-29, 2016. Demetrius “Buster” Knox and Fred Brown signed their National Letter of Intent to play basketball and attend Morris College in Sumter SC. SCSU Seniors
MCHS Seniors Receive Acceptance Letters From SCSU

On March 2, 2016, Clifford Smith from South Carolina State University visited the MCHS campus. During the visit graduating seniors who are interested in attending were interviewed.
