The Marlboro County High School Administration and Office of Student Services
will host the following Open House sessions in order to prepare both students
and their families for the upcoming school year:

Monday, August 1st from
9:00 AM until 4:00 PM will be the open house/Freshman Orientation for the Class
Tuesday, August 2nd from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM will be an open
house for students and their parents in grades 10 - 12.
Friday, August 5th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM will be an additional open house/orientation for those students and parents who
were not able to attend the open house sessions on August 1st and 2nd.
Thursday, August 11th from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM will be a "Meet the Teachers" open house session for all students and their
ceremony will take place on both days between 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM where Dr.
Bunch, Principal of MCHS, will address the students and their parents about his
goals and expectations for the upcoming school year. Student schedules will be
handed out; however, there will not be an opportunity for any changes to be made
to the schedules until school starts. In addition, there will be handouts of
important need to know information pertaining to the start of school. All
students and their parents are cordially invited to attend these key beginning
of the year open house sessions. The administration and staff of MCHS are
looking forward to both a productive and exciting new school year!

Parents' Right to Know Requirement
As required by The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001, Title I Part A. Information is available at our school to include, but is not limited to the following:
•whether a teacher has met state qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction;
•whether a teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived;
•the baccalaureate degree major of a teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree;
